Going to the mall the day before Christmas Eve


The trip to the mall was actually pretty far. We took a nicer bus that had the AC on full blast. We took tons of pictures along the way (You'll see the reflection of the bus windows in some pictures). We got some cool pictures of the Port of Vitoria. The mall is huge and was totally packed. The line to sit on Papai Noel's lap was SO LONG. The tree in the mall is massive and Papai Noel is actually inside the tree, pretty cool. There were tons of sales going on. We walked by a couple of American stores with outrageous prices.

The funniest thing about the mall is that there are lots of stores named "Mr. Something". Like the store called Mr. Cat that we went into just so we could say we'd been shopping at Mr. Cat. Later on we ate at Mister Pizza. Too funny!

    Did you sit on Papi Noel's lap? Did you sing him the Dominic the Donkey song?

    The cost for sitting on "Papi" Noel's lap was worth a whole meal at the mall so I told Court the truth: Papi Noel is just a poor old man who gets paid to sit there for hours handling annoying kids...she was upset for a little while but we had ice cream later on and everything was okay.
